NetSuite Support Options For Troubleshooting

netsuite support options troubleshooting ecommerce software

If you are new to NetSuite ERP or their ecommerce platform SuiteCommerce Advanced, you will eventually run into areas that require additional assistance. Troubleshooting is required in any software solution, and NetSuite is no different. By having the right resources available, you can be ready to tackle any issue you face. Resources for troubleshooting NetSuite issues There are a handful of common resources you should be aware of when beginning work in NetSuite ERP or SuiteCommerce Advanced.

1. SuiteAnswers

This is the first place you can go to search for official articles or help topics related to your issue. It is a combination of a handful of articles and all the NetSuite help documentation. Suite Answers can be a little difficult to find all your solutions, so you will need to rely on other resources.

2. Developers SuiteCommerce

If you are using SuiteCommerce, this help section is not just for developers. It can be used for both developers and SuiteCommerce Advanced administrators. It only gives Suite Commerce related articles and help documentation in a cleaner format. As of 2025, it is no longer being updated, but for the next couple years, it might be a good resource that filters out all the non SuiteCommerce related pieces. Plus, it is more organized with parent topics.

3. NetSuite Blogs By Partners

Many partners like Anchor Group NetSuite Consultants have their own blog that might have posted solutions to issues they have encountered. Worse case scenario, you can hire a partner as a better, more responsive, NetSuite support option to resolve your issue for you. NetSuite ACS is an option, but most people find they aren’t as useful as partners due to their escalation process.

4. NetSuite Support Tickets

You may want to submit support tickets for very difficult problems. It is one way to get help, but it will take the longest to find a solution. They also have an escalation process and depending on the issue, it might take weeks to resolve. If it is a vital issue, contact a NetSuite partner, consultant, or developer.

5. NetSuite Consultants, Developers, And Partners

The most common method of support for NetSuite users is to have a professionals in their field outside of the Oracle Net Suite company helping to support their instance. There are a variety of consultants, developers, and partners that will make your life 100% easier by having them on standby or as a managed services support.

Finding A Human For Direct Support

There are a couple different types of people you will likely face when trying to get an answer to a question. These two main roles or NetSuite functional consultants and NetSuite developers. Each person plays an important role through out any troubleshooting process. A functional consultant will know the key configurations, understand documentation toughly, likely be certified as an administrator or ERP consultant, and have a high level understanding of NetSuite development.

As you dive into any issue, it may be a result of a customization a NetSuite developer built at one point. This could be scripting that needs updated or a new customization that fails to interact with an old customization. If you decide to find a NetSuite partner to be your primary support options for questions and service work, these will be the two types of people you will likely be working with on a daily basic.

If you have a need for SuiteCommerce, you will need someone specialized in SuiteCommerce Advanced development. A good NetSuite developer that has no experience in SuiteCommerce will know that it requires an additional expertise. If you need SuiteCommerce support, make sure to hire a SuiteCommerce specialized partner.

Reassurance That SuiteCommerce Is Right For You

If you have run into a lot of issues with your specific instance, this type of partner can help reassure you why SuiteCommerce is better than other options like Shopify Plus. NetSuite ERP is commonly used for all types of organizations in all verticals including health. Many companies like this Discounts Domains, use NetSuite ERP, and grow into SuiteCommerce as their ecommerce.

Finding Other Apps And Solutions To Resolve Issues

There are some new initiatives by SuiteMarkets which is a 3rd party app platform that allows you to purchase SuiteCommerce and NetSuite ERP apps with features. It is a great way to find existing solutions for NetSuite ERP or SuiteCommerce. It is something to keep in mind as the platform continues to grow and more features get listed. Since it is free to list solutions, there are more smaller applications being listed such as order tracking, blogs, custom themes, customer center add-ons, in addition to software companies.

There is also NetSuite’s app platform which is primarily used to inform NetSuite customers of software that integrates into the platform. Shopify has something similar including applications that help them integrate into the NetSuite platform. More and more customers are utilizing NetSuite as an ecommerce platform in additional to its reporting, warehouse management, HR, and other ERP features. This expands beyond your traditional ecommerce website and includes integrations to popular ecommerce solutions including Amazon, eBay, and Overstock.

Software Development And SaaS Usage Trends

software development saas consumption boom trends cybercrime risks

This past year ago the people of the world faced one of the biggest challenge of this century in a global health crisis. Once the recent event was officially declared, our lives just changed drastically. Millions of people around the world had to live their personal and professional lives from home. This crisis has transformed the idea of work remotely from a suggestion to a fact. Thus, once with this worldwide crisis, even the way people consume software products and technology has changed.

Software Purchases During Pandemic

During these times, to ease their lives and cope with the unknown's anxiety and find a balance between work and their personal life, people were more oriented to software products and all sorts of tools that would automatize their work. So the use of software products has been growing significantly since last year, accelerating the need of developers to improve their products. The total technology purchases have gone up during lockdown, raising the bar from 38% to 44% in 2020. The overall technology purchases are expected to grow from 2.6% to 3.4% by end of the year. This caused increasing the demand for software, tech consulting and systems integration services, and many other benefits. Honest software reviews websites To help developers meet their users, some software aggregators in the market ease the process for both parts.

Find The Smart Software Solutions

For example, SocialSellingEntrepreneur.net is an honest software reviews website aiming to be the largest encyclopedia where people can find their tool match. Social Selling Entrepreneur has come as a natural solution during the pandemic as people started to consume more and more social and digital tools to help improve their work or personal life. Before buying a product or a service, people are looking for accurate information or other people's reviews to inform and make a better decision. Therefore, you can find all sorts of software from CRM, Marketing, Finance, Automation, Design, Project Management, E-commerce, and many more on their website. Moreover, apart from their honest reviews, you can find the latest news in the tech and software industry. This site and blog was designed during the pandemic and is meant to help both consumers and developers meet in the middle and work together to improve peoples' lives.

On the one hand, they want to help developers find their customers, and on the other hand, they want to help people find what they need to be a better version of themselves and adapt to this digital world. We are also a software comparison website where people can compare multiple products and choose the right one regarding functionality, price, or benefits. Its main goal is to offer people honest software reviews and the necessary information about

Even though the pandemic has changed radically, people found the ability to adapt and move on, embracing the digital and working from home. Still, we need to socialize. But even if we will return for good in our offices, the consumption for software development will not drop. On the contrary, people and companies will continue to purchase and use whatever tool will improve their work and boost their business after such times. That is why you have better read some honest reviews on specific websites.

SEMrush SEO Solution

Speaking of software solutions, SEMrush ahead of an upcoming IPO is releasing an awesome new feature inside the Client Manager tool, aimed at honing and simplifying one of the most complex and significant stages of your workflow – client reporting. This is where we are going to need your help. This top SEO SaaS solutions is also sharing their process for building the most target, relevant and successful links with a live audience. The cool part is, the websites they’ll use for the walk-through will be audience submissions - so submit your site for a chance to be featured in their presentation!

Software Buying And SaaS Use Boom Creates Increased Security Risks

But with a boom in software use and a bigger shift towards digital comes more cybersecurity risks like hacking and computer viruses. One simple example is all of the Zoom meetings and calls that were hacked into when it was the most popular video chat program going. But that's really just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to software vulnerabilities and other digital security risks.

You must train employees how to use SaaS programs correctly and to recognize phishing emails. Work with a technology partner to help ensure your data is secure. Have employees change their passwords regularly. Maintain up-to-date antivirus and firewall software. Use an encrypted virtual private network to maintain data security Have employees use passwords with multiple characters, numbers, symbols, and capitalized letters mixed with lowercase. They may be better targets for financial gain than individuals. They may have more valuable information, such as personal information and employee data, than individuals. Their employees often are easy targets for phishing emails. Some businesses might not maintain up-to-date cybersecurity for their data, but here is some top cybersec information we found.

Cybercrime Statistics

There is a lot of new data on the market for cybercrime, hacks, malware, and ransomware. Cybercrime has increased by 600% since the COVID-19 pandemic. MacOS malware has grown by 165% in the past year. Email is used to deliver 92% of malware. Of information security professionals, 50% say their companies are unprepared to resist a ransomware attack. One-third of businesses attacked by malware took at least a week to recover their data. Three in four companies that become infected by malware had up-to-date endpoint protection.

The average business spends $133,000 on a ransomware attack. Ransomware costs companies more than $75 billion every year. A business will be the victim of ransomware every 11 seconds this year. Newly hired employees present the most risk from socially engineered attacks such as phishing. Of IT professionals, 56% name targeted phishing as their top threat to security. Users open 30% of phishing messages; 12% of them wind up clicking on the malicious link or attachment.

Ransomware attacks are increasing by more than 350% every year. Of small businesses, 47% have had at least one cyber attack in the last year; 44% of those experienced two to four attacks. Seven in 10 businesses are not prepared to address a cyber attack. Two-thirds of businesses with more than 500 users never ask their employees to change their passwords. Two-thirds of small businesses say they are “very concerned” about cyber security. About 60% of small businesses go under within six months of a cyber attack or digital scam.

Features Of Preview For Viewing Or Editing PDFs

Thanks to its amazing features, the Preview app is a solid option for viewing and editing PDFs. Any Mac user who wishes to know about Preview’s PDF-related features can refer to the aforementioned points.

All About Trusted AI: Artificial Intelligence Advantages

trusted ai technology artificial intelligence advantages machine learning applications

What is trusted AI (artificial intelligence) technology? It is AI software that achieves four key traits: Fair Accountable Values Driven Explainable Let’s dig into each of these aspects of artificial intelligence and machine learning. AI should be fair. Since AI systems make so many decisions on our behalf, we need to know that the decisions it is making are fundamentally fair. Fairness, as we discussed in previous blog posts, can be tricky to navigate in terms of outcomes, but the bare minimum standard of fairness is that AI tech does not discriminate on protected classes (age, gender, race, religion, disability, etc.) or inferred variables that correlate to protected classes. So AI and machine learning being unbiased is essential to effectiveness.

Every decision AI makes should at a minimum be blind to those considerations, except where permitted by law and ethics. AI should be accountable. When we build systems to make decisions, whether it’s who to show our ads to, what constitutes a valuable customer, our systems must inform the users - us, and our customers - how it made those decisions so that we can hold the system accountable. If an AI system declines your loan, it should explain what factors led to that decline. It’s not enough for the system to say a loan application was declined, but also spit out things like insufficient household income, or credit score below the required threshold - whatever variables used to make its decision should be communicated to the user.

AI should be values-driven. This is a BIG one. Our AI systems - and their outcomes - have to match our values. If we claim we support, for example, non-discrimination based on age, and our AI models discriminate based on age, we have a system that’s out of alignment with our values. As an interesting side note, we often say that Facebook and its various companies like Instagram has built a system that essentially makes the world a worse place by amplifying negative emotions and promoting rampant misinformation.

Interestingly, this doesn’t conflict with their core values: Be bold. Focus on impact. Move fast. Be open. Build social value. Nowhere in their statement of values do things like “engender happiness” or “make the world a better place” exist, so it should be no surprise to us that they build AI which is aligned with their values - even if it doesn’t align with our values. AI should be explainable. Ultimately, any AI model - which is nothing more than a piece of software - should be interpretable and explainable.

How did a system make its decisions? What data did it learn from? What algorithms did it incorporate? When we know what is in the engine, it is much easier to fix it when it goes wrong. When we know what the ingredients are in our cooking, it’s much easier to correct our dishes. All this sounds great as abstract theory. This is what we want in systems that make decisions on our behalf, every day. The question is, how do we practically implement some of this? You must learn how to test for bias in your data, and how to know when a system has gone off the rails.

Why is trusted AI so important? These systems - from mortgage loan application processing to hiring to even what you see when you log into your favorite social network - govern a large and increasing part of our lives. Do you trust, for example, Facebook’s AI to make decisions that are fair and equitable? I certainly don’t - and yet I still use it (though much less than I used to). If you’re a marketer or a business owner, are you using AI? (the answer is almost certainly yes, whether you know it or not) Do you trust the AI you’re using? If so, why? If not, why not?

The reality is that AI is like computing in general: it lets us do bigger stuff, faster. Like any amplifier, it will take the good and make it better - and it will take the bad and make it worse. One look at your declining reach in unpaid social media marketing proves that for you. Is that making you a better marketer? Is it making the world a better place? Is that working with systems you trust?

I believe we are at a pivotal point now in the use of AI in marketing. With increasing regulation and restriction on the data we have available to us, more and more companies will turn to machine learning and AI to extract more value out of the data we do have access to. Without an emphasis on fairness, on building trustworthy systems, there’s a good chance we’ll make things worse rather than better - not just for company performance, but for the world as a whole. On the other hand, if we build our systems to process marketing data with fairness, accountability, values alignment, and interpretability at the core of our efforts, we’ll achieve not only better marketing results, we’ll also not make the world a worse place.

Every time you evaluate a vendor from now on, consider asking how they incorporate those practices of fairness, accountability, values alignment, and interpretability in their systems. If they don’t have clear, documented processes for doing so, give real thought whether you should be working with that vendor or not. At some point, without those north stars to guide their efforts, they are likely to create AI on your behalf that generates damaging results.

But what if you can't afford AI? One of the most common questions whenever I present about the use of AI in marketing is, "What if we can't afford an AI engineer and a data scientist, or can't afford an agency or vendor?" In the past, I've struggled to answer this question in a satisfactory way for a couple of reasons. First, I've struggled to answer it because I use AI every day, so I have trouble imagining what it would be like to not have access to the tools. It'd be like trying to understand someone who didn't have access to spreadsheets - they're just part of my everyday work.

The second reason I've struggled to answer the question is because the problems I face at work every day are large-scale problems that are well-suited to AI. Problems involving small data generally don't land on my desk; someone else has already solved them, and I'm not needed. It's this train of thought that has led to what I think is a satisfactory answer to that question. AI is good at three things: processing data faster (and thus being able to handle a lot of it), processing data more accurately, and processing data in routine ways. Google's Chief Decision Scientist Cassie Kozyrkov calls AI and machine learning nothing more than "problem labeling machines", which is accurate. We use AI to turn data into numbers that can be calculated and processed, clustered and predicted. But that presumes we have enough data to do all that labeling and processing. AI fails when we don't have enough data. And therein lies the distinguishing factor, the real answer to the question. You need AI when you have machine-sized problems. You can use human solutions when you have human-sized problems.

For example, suppose you want to know what works in tweets, what topics to cover. If you downloaded all your tweets, and sorted by the most engaging, you could probably get a good idea of what works by reading - manually - the top 100 tweets, and doing a bit of legwork to group them together by topic and language. You don't need AI for that. If you need to do that for an entire industry sector, you've now got a machine-sized problem, and that's where AI shines. There's no practical way to sort and process hundreds of thousands of tweets in a timely fashion. Companies like Google process more data with AI than they ever could with humans. They'd have to employ most of North America just to deal with a day's worth of data. AI is called for. If you need to understand the language used on a company website, you can have a person read the top 10 or even top 100 pages - that's a human-sized problem. If you need to understand the language used on Wikipedia? That's a machine-sized problem.

So, here's my answer to "What if we can't afford an AI engineer and a data scientist, or can't afford an agency or vendor?". Find a way to reduce the data down to a human-sized problem and solve it with humans until you have enough resources - money, time, people - to work with the full-size dataset. Sampling data is a time-honored method to make big data smaller, and doesn't require anything more sophisticated than a semester's worth of statistics classes in university (assuming you did well in the class, of course). Make the data and the problem fit the resources you have to solve it as best as you can.

With every software vendor and services provider proclaiming that they too are an AI-powered company, it's more difficult to demystify artificial intelligence and its applications for marketers. What is AI? Why should you care? How does it apply to your business? In the newly revised Third Edition of AI for Marketers, you'll get the answers you've been looking for. With all-new practical examples, you'll learn topics like attribution modeling, forecasting, natural language processing, and influencer identification.

AI technology is here to stay and it's only getting more advanced each year. Artificial intelligence and machine learning tech will be applied to more industries and products over time, so you best get on board now!

What To Know About iPad Forms Design

ipad forms design tablet pdf

Using an Apple iPad for data collection offers enterprises many advantages. In addition to enabling enhanced accuracy and real-time submissions, the tablet provides more processing power than smartphones. iPad data collection on the field is also preferable due to better data and battery consumption. Enterprises, however, may not get all the benefits iPad forms have to offer if they’re not well-designed. To help you create the perfect fillable forms for iPad, here’s a quick list of Do’s and Don’ts from expert form designers.

3 Do’s For Apple iPad Forms Design

Here are the basic principles our designers follow whenever they design forms for an iPad tablet from Apple.

1) Emphasize Logical Clarity In Your iPad Forms

Make sure your forms instantly communicate their purpose. To achieve this, here are some quick tips to get you started. Use a meaningful name for your forms. If you are mobilizing a paper form used in your enterprise, use the same name as the paper form. Add text labels before input fields. Keep these short, succinct, and descriptive to allow users to easily scan them. Preferably keep your labels limited to two words at most to ensure higher completion rates. If you feel extra context or clarification is required, use help text instead of long labels. You can also use placeholder text to add an example.

2) Always Keep Formatting A Top Priority

The formatting of mobile forms is important as it contributes to their accessibility. The following are important tips to make input fields easier to scan and fill. Avoid using all caps while writing labels. Uppercase text is harder to read since there is no difference in character height. Moreover, users aren’t used to reading text in all caps. Ensure the texts and fonts used in your form are legible. While we usually use 16px, you are welcome to test font sizes to see which is most suitable for you. Carefully select the colors you use in your form. Not only should they reflect your company’s branding, but they also shouldn’t be too bright or too dark. According to W3C, small texts should have a contrast ratio of 4.5:1 against the background. Meanwhile, larger texts (14px bold, or 18px and up) should have a ratio of 3:1.

3) Minimize The Effort Required Of Users For Filling Out The Forms

Users of your iPad forms shouldn’t put too much effort into entering data. With that in mind, here are some pointers to help you achieve this. Use form controls such as the Date Picker or Time Picker to allow users to enter specific details easily. Pre-populate fields with smart default values. For instance, if a user marks their country as Australia, the country code before their numbers can be pre-populated as +61. Provide real-time suggestions or completion suggestions in a dropdown menu. This ensures information is entered accurately and speeds data entry time.

3 Don’ts Of iPad Form Design

Now that you know what to do, here are the things to avoid while creating mobile forms for tablets.

1) Don’t Use Multi-Column Layouts

Form designers such as Transform Studio allow you to place controls either in vertical or horizontal orientation. However, when designing mobile forms for iPad, the horizontal orientation leads to multi-column layouts. These affect usability since: Users may skip fields where they actually have data to input. Users may mistakenly input data into the wrong fields. Time is wasted while users puzzle over how to proceed with inputting data. You may only use the multi-column design for inputs which are thought of linearly or as a coherent entity. Examples include first and last names; and zip, city, and state fields.

2) Avoid Building Long Mobile Forms

You may be tempted to use more input fields since users can scroll through them in portrait mode. However, long forms tend to be too complex. Moreover, you cannot assume users will only use the portrait mode. If you have a long form, consider breaking it down into several tabs. Logically group fields and spread them across several tabs. For instance, input fields in an Environmental Checklist can be divided into Chemical Management, Erosion and Sediment Control, Water Management, and Air Quality and Dust tabs.

3) Don’t Limit Yourself To Just Text Fields

One of the biggest advantages of creating fillable forms for iPad is the different input field types you can use. With more space available, you can use the following form controls easily: Toggle Buttons – Toggle buttons (Switch control in Transform Studio) can be used when a user has to decide between two values (e.g. Yes and No). You can use these instead of dropdown lists on your forms. Sliders – Form users will enjoy the speed and ease of data entry offered by the Slider control. By moving the slider, they can select prices, quantities, and much more. Date and Time Pickers – Allow users to select the date and time easily rather than input these values manually to make things easier.

Benefits Of Artificial Intelligence In Big Pharma

advantages ai technology big pharma disadvantages artificial intelligence medtech industry

Big Pharma and the overall medical industry have been growing in rapidly over the last few decades. Pharmtech and medtech advances have helped to nearly cure certain medical conditions and provide improved medical care for hundreds of millions of people that otherwise wouldn't have gotten it. Such advances in treatments and technologies have been been a business boon worth trillions of dollars in the last decade.

But there have been some major industry hiccups as well. These include rapidly rising health insurance costs, higher costs of treatment, exploding drug prices, growing opioid addictions, medical errors, and the rise in certain medical conditions. And of course we can't forget innovations and failures of the most recent global health crisis as well.

Luckily, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technology have had a growing impact on the pharma industry to help combat some of these growing problems.

Examples Of AI & Machine Learning Tech In Pharma And Medical Industries

Breast Cancer Diagnoses

One example of AI being used in the medical and pharmaceutical industry is in breast cancer identification and treatment. Breast cancer cases have increased significantly over the last couple of decades. Luckily, AI has recently been shown to be even more effective than trained radiologists at diagnosing mammograms taken as being positive or negative for breast cancer. According to a recent study, AI technology was superior at spotting breast cancer in patients and also had a 2% lower number of false positive diagnoses. This is very promising data indeed and a trend that will likely continue over time for patients.
