How Industries Use CRM To Boost Business

how different industries use crm software solutions customer relationship management

Many businesses in diverse industries are using CRM or customer relationship management systems software for many years. It is still a very successful practice among businesses where customer satisfaction is of high priority. Healthcare CRM in fact is the most popular for the real results it brings to the business. We'll look into healthcare CRM in greater detail later in the article.

The purpose of CRM programs is to keep the existing customers happy and to add new customers. CRM software brings together company sales, customer support activities, and marketing departments while streamlining policies, processes, and people.

Businesses often adopt CRM for it provides a complete picture of the process and expected results, which helps the top managerial restructure strategies for accomplishing shared goals. Each industry or business niche uses CRM differently.

Let's see how various industries are utilizing customer relationship management software solutions in the new economy.

Use Of CRM Software Across 4 Different Industries

1. CRM For The Healthcare Industry

The healthcare industry has gone through profound changes following the adoption of CRM. The changes or certain shift is impressive as compared to other industries. What led the industry to include CRM is the domination of digitalization that started somewhere about a decade ago during major political elections, where its benefits and the urgent need to implement were echoed. Today, businesses operating in the health care industry are using CRM as a one-stop-shop to manage patients digitally. They now have a specially dedicated team to set appointments, schedule meetings, coordinate between multiple care units, and send reminders to patients for their next visit.

The data collected by the CRM software of healthcare patients is also being used on a wider approach to bring artificial intelligence powered automation solutions for handling complex jobs such as scheduling staff and accommodating patients inflows.

The implementation of CRM solutions in healthcare has helped managed the entire sector while reducing cost and saving time. This new healthcare tech is especially important in today's global healthcare crisis with reforms an expansions becoming imminent.

2. CRM For Retailing And Ecommerce Industry

The core business of the retail industry is to sell goods and services. The retailing industry has also adopted CRM technology to better manage customers, production, supply, and a better demand view. The retailer industry uses CRM to evaluate any change in the customers preference; if so, what made the shift and what the industry can do to keep the customers happy and returning.

There is dedicated CRM software that prompts the retail industry to change a company's government policies to comply. It also helps restructure the retail process for better accomplishment of the goals.

For many years, retailers have used various technologies and solution providers to help them manage and optimize their pricing, promotions, and markdowns. Despite sophisticated analytics, complex rules, CRM software solutions, and the availability of competitor intelligence, legacy solutions often miss the mark when it comes to enabling a balance that meet both the retailer’s and shopper’s needs. With the recent rapid changes in shopper behavior on new websites, and increasing e-commerce adoption, it is more challenging than ever to uncover ideal pricing, promotions, and markdowns on CRM programs. In the era of AI retailers are exploring new, more strategic, channel-specific, and autonomous approaches to pricing and promotions that will drive profitable revenue growth.

CRM software solutions are even more obvious and evident for ecommerce only businesses compared to brick and mortar retailers or mixed retail sellers. For example, a CRM system is absolutely essential for an online CBD company, while it is merely suggested for a CBD brick and mortar store or small chain.

3. CRM For The Financial Industry

The financial industry, particularly the banking sector, uses CRM software to understand the customer behavior and preferences. There are tailor-made CRM programs of the financial industry for the personalized handling of the customers. These programs help create attractive offers for the customers.

The solutions suggested by the CRM are focused on reducing the total cost to ownership and extend the value of the investment by holistic integration of existing systems pre-existing within the company.

4. CRM For The Legal Industry

A survey on the working of attorneys found that a legal personal bill of 1.9 hours out of 8 hours worked for the remaining hours spent researching and winning new businesses. The unpaid working hours are a major concern; however, the implementation of CRM has made it possible for attorneys to bill for every effort they made in closing a deal.

For instance, attorneys now use chatbots that are easy to use, record, and schedule meetings with new businesses. The chatbots and other automated applications such as auto-reply help them stay proactive in their business and get paid for every minute utilized.

The CRM system has proven to be exceptionally effective in circumstances where customers are in distress and need an immediate response, such as at firms that handle criminal cases. The CRM lets the firms prioritize customers and provide a quick turnaround.

Moreover, automation of process has helped follow up on leads and cut down on repetitive tasks such as scheduling appointments and tracking bills. CRM, in short, has helped the legal industry stay profitable.

CRM Conclusion

CRM is an effective strategy to automate certain tasks and stay upbeat in the business. The CRM programs or software provide the users a complete picture of the process and help them navigate to the targeted customers. Find the best CRM software solution for your industry and business for a big boost!

Cancelling Adobe Creative Suite: Poor Online Customer Service & Fees

cancel adobe creative suite photoshop worst customer service fees cancellation

Adobe Creative Suite (with Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and other flagship programs) is expensive. It's at least $80 a month for their suite of graphic design software and can easily be more expensive if you aren't a student. Especially when there are so many free online image editing programs available for computers and smartphones. A lot of social media marketers and companies will end up deciding to cancel their services eventually. If only it were that simple!

Shame on Adobe for making it very challenging to cancel your Adobe Creative Suite membership. Although making it a difficult process helps them earn a few extra million dollars, it has turned me off to their entire company. Such a large and successful software business resorting to such lowly tactics on their website, email and social media.

Adobe Illustrator or any Creative Suite membership needs to be canceled by selecting “Contact Us” on their website (towards the bottom). You then have to specify that you want to “Cancel Your Membership” and you have to do it via Telephone or Chat with a representative from outside of the US.

During the phone or chat they’ll attempt to talk you out of it, and one time the chat even froze conveniently before they finalized cancellation. I was livid. Make sure you get the cancellation email to know that it was done. If you don’t confirm then they might not actually do it because that’s what their reps are trained to do.

Even if you just paid for the month, they’ll cancel your service immediately. Supposedly they can charge you an extra month unless you provide them with over 14 days of notice as well. What a miserable investment

It reminds me of when I worked at several gyms and health clubs. It was always standard procedure to require customers to cancel in person instead of over the phone or email. The management pretended this policy was for the account security of the member, but it was really a way to prevent lazy and non-confrontational people from canceling for at least another month or two.

This is the oldest trick in the book for customer (dis)service and very immoral and frustrating. Enjoy the extra cancellation fees friends! Adobe should be ashamed!

Skip the social media messages to Adobe, their customer service team (if they have one) aren't reading them or doing anything about it. Keep my experience in mind next time you find yourself dealing with Adobe or any other SaaS company for that matter.

But there is some silver lining. You can use free individual apps or websites that can perform one or several effects that you would normally have to pay for Adobe Creative Suite. Or you could just pay as little as $5 for professional graphic designers to handle your needs on Fiverr, Upwork, and other low-cost gig websites.

Abandon Adobe!! Cancel The Crap!!!

I hope you enjoyed this article about a public service announcement for cancelling your Adobe Creative Suite software.

Selecting The Best Real Estate CRM

best real estate crm realtor customer relationship manager software system

Real Estate CRM software can help you keep track of your customers – manage existing customers and also reach out to potential new customers. You can also use the CRM software for connecting with buyers and vendors. It can seamlessly link your marketing, sales, customer support and inventory management activities, thus allowing your team to work more efficiently and effectively.

There are multiple vendors who offer CRM for real estate. How do you choose one that is best for your business? Let us first look at what are the must-have features in a good real estate CRM software.

Email Tracking And Automation

If you have not deployed a seamless system, it will be a time-consuming and painful task to retrieve data from your emails. You will have to keep a tab on all the conversations happening between your team, the vendors, the customers, the potential leads etc. A good CRM software should be able to integrate email services and offer you all the information you need at a glance. This can help save time and improve efficiency.

Mobility

Your brokers and agents are always on the move, hunting for more business. A Real estate CRM solution should be one that can support mobile apps. This ensures that you always have access to important data while you are on the field. Also, your team should be able to access and update the data from anywhere, thus keeping everyone apprised of the latest updates. The database also acts a one-stop shop for all information.

Listing And Closing Features

Your real estate CRM software should allow you to list and close details so that you do not leave anything to chance. The system should allow you to use plans as is or customize them to your requirement. Your retail CRM system should allow you to list home amenities easily such as solar panels, fireplaces, energy efficient HVAC systems, appliances, smart home technology, and security systems.

Marketing Functionality

Your realtor CRM software should seamlessly integrate into your marketing function allowing you to keep in touch with your current clients, brokers, agents, vendors and also to follow up with your potential leads. Remember to ensure user-friendliness otherwise you will face resistance from your team to deploy it.

While choosing a CRM for your real estate business, it is important to keep in mind the following.

Identify Your Requirements

Clearly assess your requirements and the need for a CRM software before even beginning a search for one. List down what are the must-haves in your CRM software as per your business needs. List down features that you are ok to compromise on. Answer questions like are you looking only for a database management software or do you want the software to manage transactions as well. Are you looking for a marketing tool? Do you want a CRM system that automates certain tasks? Does it need to have a color-coded dashboard? How much customization are you looking for? Answering such questions gives you a clearer idea of what to look for and makes the selection process simpler.

Look For The Correct Solution

Once you have identified your business requirements, it is time to choose CRM software as per the needs. Again you should answer questions like are you looking for a specific CRM for real estate or a general CRM software would suffice. Look for a software which will solve your problems regardless of whether it is specifically for real estate or no.

Settle For A Cloud-Based Solution

A cloud-based solution is a must today as it guarantees the optimum level of data security. You also don't have to worry about software upgrades slowing or stopping your work. You can continue smoothly operating the CRM tool from anywhere and also access it via your mobile as the cloud is compatible with mobile apps.

Check For Compatibility

It makes business sense to look for a CRM solution with a great reputation that is compatible with your existing tools and set up. If it is not, you will have to invest double the cost and effort to make it compatible. You have to key in data at multiple places manually and this may also increase the risk of human errors. Look for a system that simplifies and eases out your life.

Benchmark

This is a very important step that most businesses miss out. Always benchmark your CRM software against what other companies are using. Ask for reviews from real estate agents and brokers. Is the solution to serving their requirements well? How is the customer support? Is it easy to use? You can check social media for reviews and also check with your colleagues. There are multiple sites which offer unbiased reviews of different CRM software. They can also help to a large extent. You could also shortlist 2-3 vendors and ask them to give you a trial/demo for a few days. This can give you and your team a hands-on feel of the software and make the selection process easier.

Ramp Up Your Real Estate Right Now

To conclude, there are multiple vendors offering specific CRM for real estate. Whether or not you need it and what features you need is something you need to deliberate upon. Do your homework, check around, speak to people, compare vendors and offerings, if possible get a couple of trial demos and only then make an informed purchase.

The right real estate CRM software will help you sell more houses and rent more properties!
